Sorry…
I haven’t posted shit in over a week. Re the post below, Kerodin will be circulating the Liberty Conference document. Contact him for details. He understands that many can’t make it, that’s life these days…
Unfortunately, I tried to have that discussion with my father who is three thousands miles away and keeps asking me if I’m coming to California soon. The unintentional pressure of these talks is driving me crazy. I am given to wonder how much of this is the result of the economy and people’s inability to cope anymore?
Gotta run, work beckons.

The Liberty Conference…
Saw this over at Kerodin’s by way of Knuckledraggin’ and wanted to add some thoughts.
For about four years or more I have been looking for, and finding, like-minded individuals who are concerned about the possibility of having to SOMEHOW force our government to return to that model which was put in place by force of arms over two hundred years ago.
I like a lot about Kerodin’s proposal, however, as I said at Wirecutter’s:
I would love to be there. Can’t promise shit because like every other American out there I’m working seven days a week just to take care of basic bills right now. I couldn’t drive or fly to DC without outside help. One thing I CAN promise is that I COULD take the time off. It ain’t lack of willingness, it’s lack of finances. Unlike 1776, we aren’t as localized and we don’t have any financial backing right now (that I am privy to, anyway).
And just to clarify, I ain’t asking for a handout. It’s just a huge consideration. Just saying that a lot more people would probably make a greater showing if there was financial backing. As Napoleon said, an army marches on its stomach. Maybe someone out there can hack George Soros’ bank account. Wouldn’t that be the ultimate assfucking of the liberals?
All kidding aside, for any group to get a message across to our government that the blatant abuses and corruption, as well as flouting of the Constitution must cease immediately there will have to be an actual “army” of citizens to convene in D.C. Remember the failed “Million Man March”?
And the reality is that there are a lot of like-minded people out there that simply can’t afford to make that trip. Bottom line is, there needs to be funding in place to support this endeavour or it will fail from the outset. Any student of American history knows that even the Continental Army had to be paid, clothed and fed, which was a constant problem due to lack of funding.
Anyway, this is just my two cents.
